Clubs are reminded that it is their duty to read and follow the guidance contained in the Spirit of Cricket and ensure their players conform. On the field, a captain is responsible for the conduct of his players and for ensuring the Spirit of Cricket is upheld.
All Club umpires should familiarise themselves with the League Rules and Voluntary Code of Conduct and guidance notes before they officiate matches. In the event of player misconduct, umpires should follow the procedure set out in the Voluntary Code of Conduct and report the incident to Peter Robinson as prescribed on the report form.
